CLOSING INFORMATION
Pillar Development has always been known for excellent customer service, and most of that reputation has been built from our closing process. Prior to closing, we schedule a pre-closing walkthrough with the buyers and one or two of our project staff. Our pre-closing walkthrough is not only a time to pick out the minor touch-ups that need to be addressed, but is an education process. We feel that owning a home is a huge responsibility, and too many people are not aware of how their home operates or needs to be cared for. We take a couple hours to explain the processes, mechanics, maintenance and care for all aspects of a new home. While this is happening, we encourage our customers to ask questions, and point out concerns along the way. Through this process, new home buyers feel much more confident in their own ability to care for their home, while learning about the quality and value they are obtaining through owning a Pillar Development home.
At the pre-closing walkthrough, you will receive a checklist of items that need to be addressed, a full explanation of the 2-10 warranty program, a list with contact information of all the subcontractors that helped build your new home, and how the one-year walkthrough will work.
